Find equipment installation and repair jobs
Looking for new clients for installing or repairing household appliances, TVs or other devices?
On Tyoon, individuals and businesses can post tasks related to installing, commissioning and repairing household appliances, TVs, security cameras, computers and tablets. As a service provider you can browse open tasks, choose assignments that fit your skills and schedule, and send the customer your own offer. The task can be carried out at the customer’s location or at the service provider’s own premises, depending on the type of work involved.
Tyoon suits independent installers, repair technicians, appliance specialists, light entrepreneurs, sole traders, and small and larger installation and service companies.
Registration is free, and there is no monthly fee.
Important
Tyoon is not a staffing agency or an employer. The service is intended for independent service providers and businesses looking for independent installation and repair jobs — not job postings through staffing agencies.
What kind of installation and repair tasks are posted?
Client needs can range from installing a single device to a larger repair or commissioning job.
Tasks that may be posted on Tyoon include, for example:
- • installing a household appliance, such as a washing machine or dishwasher
- • installing a cooker hood or oven
- • wall-mounting and setting up a TV
- • installing a home theatre system
- • installing security cameras and surveillance systems
- • diagnosing and repairing household appliances
- • repairing a TV
- • diagnosing and repairing a computer
- • repairing a tablet or phone
- • setting up devices and guiding customers on their use

You decide for yourself which tasks to respond to. You do not have to take on tasks that do not match your skills, availability or qualifications.
Who are equipment installation and repair tasks suitable for?
Tasks posted through Tyoon can suit both individual installers and repair technicians, as well as larger installation and service companies.
The service may suit you if:
- • you install household appliances such as washing machines, cookers or dishwashers
- • you mount and set up TVs and home theatre systems
- • you install security cameras or other surveillance systems
- • you repair household appliances or TVs
- • you repair computers, tablets or phones
- • you can guide the customer on using the device during installation
- • you want to find more regular clients alongside your current assignments
Tyoon is not an employer or a staffing agency. Clients post tasks on the service that independent service providers and companies can submit their own offers for.
Household appliance installation
When purchasing a new household appliance, customers often need help installing and setting it up.
The task may involve, for example:
- • installing and connecting a washing machine or tumble dryer
- • installing a dishwasher
- • installing a cooker, oven or hob
- • installing a cooker hood
- • commissioning a refrigerator or freezer
- • removing and disposing of the old appliance
- • guiding the customer on the basic settings and use of the device
Before making an offer, find out at least the following: what kind of appliance is involved and what its connection requirements are whether the installation site already has the necessary water, drainage or electrical connections whether the customer also needs the old appliance removed Do not carry out electrical or plumbing work that requires the qualifications of an electrician or plumber unless you have the necessary training and authorisation.
TV and home theatre installation
Wall-mounting a TV and setting up a home theatre system are popular installation tasks.
The task may involve, for example:
- • mounting a TV on a wall bracket
- • concealing TV cabling
- • installing home theatre speakers
- • connecting streaming devices and game consoles
- • setting up TV channels and apps
- • adjusting sound and picture settings
Before installation, make sure the wall can support the weight of the TV and that the chosen wall bracket is suitable for the device.
Security camera and surveillance system installation
Private individuals and businesses purchase security cameras and surveillance systems to protect homes, yards and business premises.
The task may involve, for example:
- • installing and cabling security cameras
- • connecting the surveillance system to the network and a mobile app
- • installing and setting up a recorder (NVR/DVR)
- • installing a video intercom or smart lock
- • expanding or upgrading an existing system
When positioning security cameras, you must consider the privacy of neighbours and passers-by, as well as data protection legislation. Tell the customer that cameras must not be pointed at, for example, a neighbour’s yard or a public thoroughfare without proper justification, and that the customer themselves is responsible for the legality of using the system.
Household appliance repair
A broken household appliance can often be repaired instead of buying a new one.
The task may involve, for example:
- • diagnosing and repairing a washing machine or tumble dryer
- • repairing a dishwasher
- • diagnosing a refrigerator or freezer
- • repairing a cooker or oven
- • ordering and replacing spare parts
- • servicing and scheduled maintenance of a device
If the cause of the fault is not known in advance, consider a separate diagnostic fee, after which you provide the customer with a more accurate repair quote. Clearly state in your offer whether the diagnostic fee is included in the repair price if the customer accepts the offer.
TV repair
A TV can break down due to, for example, picture, sound or power supply problems.
The task may involve, for example:
- • diagnosing screen or backlight faults
- • diagnosing power supply or motherboard faults
- • resolving software and operating system problems
- • checking connections and cables
- • replacing spare parts
Tell the customer in advance whether you charge a separate diagnostic fee for identifying the fault and how it affects the final price if the customer accepts the repair offer.
Computer repair
Computer faults can be related to hardware, the operating system or software.
The task may involve, for example:
- • replacing a hard drive or SSD
- • replacing memory or other components
- • reinstalling the operating system
- • resolving startup problems
- • removing malware
- • cleaning and servicing the computer
Always tell the customer in advance that data should be backed up before the repair, as some repair procedures can result in data loss. Do not promise that data will be preserved if you cannot guarantee it.
Tablet and phone repair
Tablets and smartphones often break down due to a cracked screen, a worn battery or software problems.
The task may involve, for example:
- • replacing the screen
- • replacing the battery
- • repairing the charging port
- • resolving software and operating system problems
- • recovering or transferring data to a new device
Tell the customer which device brands and models are within your area of expertise, and whether you use original or compatible spare parts.
Visiting the customer or working at your own workshop?
Some installation and repair tasks require a visit to the customer, while others can be carried out at the service provider’s own workshop or repair shop.
A visit to the customer may be needed, for example, for:
- • installing and connecting household appliances
- • wall-mounting a TV
- • installing security cameras and surveillance systems
- • devices that cannot or should not be moved
Some repair jobs, such as repairs of computers, tablets, phones or other smaller devices, can often be carried out at the service provider’s own workshop or repair shop. If you take the device with you for repair, agree clearly with the customer on pickup and return, and record the condition of the device when you receive it, so that both parties have a shared understanding of its original condition.
Which business form can be used to offer installation and repair services?
Tyoon can be used by service providers operating under different business forms. Each service provider is responsible for their own invoicing, taxes, insurance, registration of activities, and any licence or qualification requirements.
Light entrepreneur
Working as a light entrepreneur may suit someone who wants to take on individual equipment installation or repair jobs and invoice their work through an invoicing service. Always check the terms of your invoicing service and make sure the service you are planning can be invoiced through it.
This may suit you, for example, when:
- you work on the side
- you take on only a few tasks per month
- you want to try offering services
- you provide services personally without employees
- you carry out small-scale installation or repair work that does not require a separate licence
Sole trader
Operating as a sole trader may suit an independent installer or repair technician who wants to build a longer-term client base. Tyoon can help you find new clients and supplement your current schedule.
A sole trader service provider can, for example:
- acquire regular private and business clients
- offer installation and service packages
- enter into contracts with business clients
- invoice clients directly
- build their own company profile and client base
Limited company
A limited company operating in installation or maintenance can use Tyoon to find new clients and requests for offers. The company can decide for itself which tasks to submit offers for.
The service may suit a company that has:
- several installers or repair technicians
- its own vehicles and spare parts stock
- business clients
- a wider operating area
- capacity to carry out several tasks at the same time
General and limited partnership
A general partnership or limited partnership can also register on Tyoon as a service provider. This may suit, for example, a family business or an installation and maintenance service run jointly by several technicians.
How to find installation and repair tasks on Tyoon
1. Create a service provider profile
Register as a service provider and describe what installation and repair services you offer.
Add at least the following to your profile:
- your services, for example household appliance installation, TV installation or device repair
- your operating area
- your experience
- your availability
- the languages you use
- your business form
- any relevant training and qualifications
2. Browse open tasks
Customers describe the service, location, schedule and possible budget they need in the task. Read the task description carefully and ask for more information if needed before confirming a price.
3. Send the customer an offer
Your offer should include:
A good offer states:
- the proposed price
- whether the price is hourly or fixed
- when you can carry out the work
- the estimated duration of the work
- whether any spare parts and materials are included in the price
- any possible travel and additional costs
- whether you charge a separate diagnostic fee
4. Agree on details before starting the work
Once the customer accepts your offer, agree in writing on the content of the work, the price, the schedule, and who is responsible for spare parts and disposal of the old device.
How is the price of the service determined?
The price of installation and repair services can be affected by, for example:
- • the content and scope of the task
- • the type of device and the complexity of the fault
- • the estimated duration of the work
- • necessary spare parts or materials
- • a visit to the customer versus work at a workshop
- • travel costs
- • urgency
- • evening and weekend work
- • the age of the device and the availability of spare parts
If the cause of the fault is not known in advance, consider a separate diagnostic fee, after which you provide the customer with a more accurate repair quote. Clearly state in your offer whether the work is charged at an hourly rate or a fixed price, and what is included in the price. Also state whether spare parts and materials are included in the offered price or invoiced separately.
What does it cost to use Tyoon?
Registering on Tyoon is free, and there is no monthly fee.
You can browse open tasks and decide for yourself which ones to submit an offer for.
Tyoon charges the service provider a service fee only for a completed and finished task, in accordance with the applicable terms of use. If the customer does not choose your offer, no service fee is charged.
Tips for a good service provider profile
A good profile helps the customer assess your reliability and competence.
Add to your profile:
- • a clear description of your services
- • your operating area
- • your experience and knowledge of device types and brands
- • whether you offer customer visits, workshop repairs, or both
- • your company details
- • any relevant training and qualifications
- • your availability
- • your language skills
- • insurance information
- • any recommendations
Keep your service description accurate. Do not claim to perform, for example, electrical, plumbing or other licensed work unless you have the necessary training, qualifications or authorisation to do so.
